Theres a game i got for last christmas called Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero. Its basically a tokyo set street racin game, but instead of drag racing its pulling up behind some one on a highway flash ur brights and u race them, theres over 100 miles of highway that u unlock as u progress thru the game and 400 racers that u have to race. it takes quite a while to get the hang of the game and learn all the turns of the highways, but its a fun game. It has somewhere around 150 cars each with about 100 parts for every car. u can modifie all the normal stuff like engine muffler transmission suspension, but u can also modifie the body kit and stuff like that.

But ne wayz, the real reason im making this thread is i beat the game, and the last guy is a "legend" and is shrouded in mystery, even when u race him it dosnt say his name. But the weirdest thing about this guy is his car. Now the whole game im racing cars that u could never find ne where outside a car show. My own car is a custom r34 gtr skyline with 1258 hp, and its about as close to a jgtc car as u can get in the game. so i race the last racer bfore the last guy, i win a it shows me the what i won screen, then it does this thing where he pulls up behind me and i cant tell what kind of car it is from the veiw, but im expecting some car so modified i cant tell what it is. so the race starts and about 2 seconds later the guy passes me at what seemed like 200 mph and i got just barely a good enough look to tell what kinda car it was..............a datsun 240z! i couldnt beleive it, the guy took off like a bat outa hell and i couldnt see him about ten seconds into the race, then he crashes into a toll booth and the cars on this game are tuned to not go under 60 so he took about ten seconds just to get there, during which i passed him at 263 mph which the game wont let me go faster then and i won. then it did a cut scene of me driving and words sayin stuff like...........was that a ghost?........ur the legend now.....

it was all sorta anti climactic, but it just serprised the hell outa me when i saw what he was driving.

where was this game purchased? it sounds like fun and if i can find it im going to get it. so a datsun huh? wtf!! LOL!that is unbelievable!! thanx.

I myself am waiting for Pro Race Driver and Stunt man to come to the pc, both look very good and in the near future, nfs hp2

probably won't be able to play them, until christmas when I get my new Graphics car, I don't think my poor little 16mb Riva Vantra/Vantra LT will handle them too well

Not so unbelievable if you've actually driven one

I owned a Datsun 240K, the 2 door Coupe version for about 3 years and in that time, I had a lot of fun.

Sure it wasn't as fast as a V8, but it was quicker off the line than most cars, if you had your wits about you.

The fastest I ever went in it was 180kmh (111.11 mph) going up hill and I'm sure it could've gone faster because it didn't sound like it was anywhere near its rev limit (6500rpm!)

If you are thinking, "But's it's a different car", well yes you are right, but the only way it is different is that the 240K is *heavier* than the 240Z, but at a guess the drive train would be the same and I *know* the 2 cars used the same engine......

Lastly, it might look like a Datsun 240Z, but is it a 240Z under the bonnet? Maybe it's hiding something, like a small block V8.......

its a ps2 game that u could probly find at most media stores.

mickk: it was a datsun 240z but as u suspected under the hood it wasnt, this car had 1104 hp with a twin turbo so im guessing it wasnt a v8, and remember its a game. i bought it and souped it up myself, and my fastest car, a skyline, that runs 7.991 quarters, this datsun 240z with 1104 hp and weighs 1564 lbs runs 6.818 quarters. so the game was kinda acurate on the car but its more of a car u would see at a NIRA race than one the highway
