Questions about NFS or GamesCon requests?

I'm going to the next NFS Community day in Germany mid August. I'll get a chance to talk to EA about NFS Hot Pursuit and NFS World as well.

Any specific questions you guys want asked?

I've also got a pass to GamesCon from EA so I'll get a chance to check things out there too if you have any other games in attendance you want to know more about.

I got a few for NFS Hot Pursuit:

1. Why isn't it called Hot Pursuit III/Hot Pursuit 3?

2. Will there be a replay-function, either with or without save-function like NFSIII/IV/V?

3. Will the AI still have elastic-physics so when you get a bit ahead of an SUV then it'll intercept you at over mach 0.5 even thrue tight corners or will cars have natural limitations?

4. More generally: Will we ever be able to play a new NFS game without unrealistic arcade powerups? (This doesn't include nitrous oxide, spike-strips or those matts that can short-out a car's electrical system since these are real enogh).

I'll poke them about Shift 2, but I don't expect anything at all to be said at this point. In past years even if we did have discussion so far out it was always covered by an NDA.

So everyone knows I'll be flying out the 17th of the month and coming back the 22nd. I plan on taking my wife's laptop and hopefully I'll get a bunch of pictures as well from GamesCon.

Speaking of GamesCon itself, anyone have any other games I should specifically check out while I'm there? I'll probably hit the Harmonix Booth for Rock Band 3 for sure, and wander around and see what they have as well.

Hmmm, how about TDU2? Or if there's any news on Beyond Good and Evil 2 (first there was a teaser-video, then they said it was cancelled, then someone hinted maybe not). Syberia 3 (adventure-game) is said to be in the works but nothing more has been said. Speaking of adventure then if there's news about the Back to the Future games that's also interesting. Or The Force Unleashed 2, or rFactor 2 (although I doubt the later will be there). Anotehr question could be if Genki will ever make more racing games like Kaido Battle (aka Kaido Racer or Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift) or Shutokou Battle (the last of which was released for the Xbox 360 under the awful title Import Tuner Challenge, the previous ones are internationally known as Tokyo Xtreme Racer).

Just had a long day at GamesCon. Saw lots of booths and more games then I can remember. Saw some Dragon Age 2 even Frank, it's looking good!

Got my first taste of Hot Pursuit as well today, a few quick runs thru it. Looks like there could be some really good gameplay, nice graphics, night/day/weather effects. This is very much an arcade style of racing, don't expect a simulation. I'll get more time to play tomorrow and we'll see what I think after some more thorough playtime.
