** GAL Challenger **
This is the challenger that gets stolen not once, but twice in the movie, with it being towed during a car chase. They steal the car and also buy an identical vehicle, which they switch identities. when they get found out they steal it again to hide the evidence. it ends up being crushed and shredded. I saw this first in the 'remake' Deadline Auto Theft. (if you haven't seen it, it's the same movie, but he redid the acting parts to make a better storyline).

for the movie, hallicki bought a 1970 challenger and updated it to look like a 1974 year version. he did this to save money, but there are clues like the 1970 side marker lights instead of 74 style. this actually worked in my favour, because i built the model also from a 1970 and changed the front and rear to 74.

i started by adding a full side trim and vinyl roof. the rear is scratchbuilt, and the front is a modelhaus two piece resin item. the wheels are the kit's mopar rims, but i changed them to spoke style by adding some lowrider rims like hubcaps. i put HT leads on the engine. chassis was weathered a little to make it look like a few years old daily driver. added license plates '000-GAL' by printing it on photopaper.
