"Welcome to Bayview" column by Justin Wiebe

http://www.eagames.com/official/nfs/...sp?src=sotg_01

Apparently the first of a series of articles called "Inside Track" that will provide some background info on NFSU2's features, more specifically the Open World Environment. (So 'Bayview' is the name of the virtual city, then. )

highlighted quote:
Quote:
The exploration mode is designed to work with the career and the economy, which means a lot of thought and time has gone into making them feel really special and rewarding.
So, would this mean that there will be an economy of sorts concerning parts (maybe even cars?) like in PU, or even -dare I say it- mco?

Cool article, but I hate when they always keep repeating information we know, but there is a little new information in this article. I wonder what they will do with the economy? Price fluctuations of the parts and cars?

EDIT: I re-watched the teaser trailer and in it clearly shows the BAYVIEW sign.

One of the newest modes in Online will even allow a full 6 car grid this year offering a whole new racing challenge.

LAN play was of course one of the most requested features this year and we are happy to say it’s in the game, and is already a fantastic experience.

A new article in the series. Not much new info.

Six car grid? We always used to have eight. Whoopity-do.

And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar."

Only 6 cars?? I'm used to 30 cars or more on a grid at once. It makes the first few laps very interesting.
