Anyone interested in trialling the multiplayer mode?
I would like it if 2 or 3 of ya could spare some time to play around with, and hopefully race a 30 min race at Bathurst via multiplayer.
I want to check some stuff, thats all
I dont know what downloads you need tho - I spose SCGT, Bathurst track, Touring Car mod and 2003 v8's, but i dunno till I can stuff around with it and learn it

The times are screwed up sometimes&(

i sometime notice the dates go weird as well sometimes but their getting better
Mickcals where exactly did you get the date from? All I can find is the date of the last post, which in this case was Aussie Muscle about 26 minutes ago (if I saw the time right, then minus an hour lol)

sorry guys, just found it
Mickcals its in USA date form - that should be the 8th of the 10th, not the 10th of the 8th (even if it was the 10-08 that means i posted it on 8th august)
It was Wednesday the 8Th October 2003 (8-10-03) which makes that 2 weeks ago today I posted it and not 10th August 2003 (10-08-03) as its posted there.
I'll be worried when you say todays date is the 10th of the 22 2002 (10-22-03)
:D

Nah Y2k i knew that it was USA formatt but when interpreting it i was thinking 10th of October which was the 10/10/03

I might try on Friday night, we'll say meet on MSN at about 8:30 and we'll try a half hour race once we figure out how to set it up online?

You are talking about Friday as in the 25th Friday???
Y2kGoofball
10-23-2003, 06:06 AM
yes lets say today (it'll be today by the time you all read it) the 25th
And if your wondering why I am up at 11 pm well lets just say this, XP's recovery methods are crap, but i'll post that in the main forum

Mickcals your doing it again
^_^
That was acctually posted at 11:06PM on Thursday 23/10 but because of the forum adding an hour (as Kev pointed out too) its pushed the date to 12:06 AM on Friday the 24th
Thats why I said it'll be today by the time you all read it as I was on MSN and no one was online when I posted it at 11:06 Thursday night
MAIN POINT: Mickcals look at the AM - youve done what I did originally too and thought it was 12:06 PM
People where were we? I was online from 8 till 8:30 and no one but VQ was online, then I decided it wasnt worth it and left (although I admit I shoulda raced ya VQ)
Y2k
Either way what I said was right whether it was posted at 11 pm on Thursday night or 12 am Friday morning, when you woke up and read the post it'd be correct. The only situation that'd be wrong was if you we're up with me at that hour)=)

well that time i didnt look at the time so i dont know what ive done, and all this is confusing os im just going to go and sit quietly in the corner and wait till everything is sorted out.
Well I did just say I'd report it, but now, the time should be right for us cos they never adjusted it for daylight savings.

i see, well youd think something like that would be done automatically :?
Y2kGoofball
10-28-2003, 10:57 PM
you'd think but not always
Another point is the clock some forums base there time off can also be way off.
See forums have a clock somewhere which uses standard 0 GMT time, but here in Aus we're +10 GMT, and over the course of getting that time and adding 10 hours, sometimes the clock is off to begin with which puts it all outta whack, the other thing instead of just going Time in 0 GMT plus 10 hours is ... (for example 1:13am + 10 hours = 11:13am) they add a bunch of crap that also chucks it outta whack, which in actual fact is designed to auto-update the time for daylight savings or whatever
Anyhoo this is the first time since I originally signed up well before that last server crash that ive taken notice of time)=)

ok, lets forget about time for now and get back on topic
Y2kGoofball
10-30-2003, 06:42 PM
and the topic was .... ^_^
Umm
ah
thats right, I remember now (ive read the first few posts lol)
Anyone still up for a trial multiplayer run whenever we're avaiable? (which brings us back onto the topic of TIME)
Mickcals
11-01-2003, 03:29 PM
im still up to it, just give me a call (or visa versa) and we ll plan a time, and see if its ok with anyone else who wants to join in
Y2kGoofball
