ACT Labs patch for game/demo?

I dled the demo today. I tried to play it with my Act Labs wheel and perf pedals setup but since the two are on their own seperate USB ports they're 2 controllers seperate from each other. MBWR doesn't like that! So I can either steer with my wheel, and use the keyboard for gas/break, or use my pedals for gas/break and use the keyboard to steer! That sucks!

Anyone heard of this or a fix for this yet? :)

I read on the synetic forum somebody posting with a similar problem about multiple controllers, but no answer yet.
