View Full Version : Problems with Window Xp please help!!! Ramen 03-10-2002, 05:06 PM I installed the NFSpu. And when I click on the exe file. The screen would freeze on me, and after I wait about a min or so, it would pop up an error message saying that "The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive F: (which is my cdrom drive) and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed". Im unable to enter the game. Please tell me what I need to do. Thanx so much. Do you have multiple cd drives? for example, a burner and dvd drive and a player? If so sometimes EA doesn't do things right with multiple cd drives. I had to install from a certain drive to get it to work once for me. Ramen 03-10-2002, 07:34 PM yes the cd is in my drive. And I only have a cd rom drive, no burner nor dvd. Remember it's copy protected and this is the typical error you get with a copy (the game looks for the ORIGINAL cd in the drive). Try also the other method I mentioned (see other thread) c u |
