a few months ago l went to a car show in sydney, named Auto-salon....................auto-salon is a competiton that judges done-up(ricers) cars by in different competitions, which are DB drag races (loudest car), speed, paint jobs, and overall look

throw in some showgirls and ur set...........l took my own pics but they came out like crap, so l used some friends pics and a few of a website, but there the same as mine anyway.............

Yeah, sure are some nice cars. I'll bet a few are worth more than a house on Sydney Harbour Foreshore. I heard that if you didn't have at least 17" wheels, your car shouldn't've been there. Also a mega-huge sound system is essential. so if youre making one, get them sub-woofers that where show in another thread.^_^

kev, l see u heard about the sound sytems??? ur correct, the DB drag races were loud and fun...
they have 2 cars lined up like a drag race and see who can make the loudest sound.....

the highest l saw was 170DB's

l'll get some pics of the systems now

errr acca, the place was deserted in most of the pics because in auto-salon there is qualifing to make the big show in sydney........

they goto every state in australia and Auckland aswell, and they have winners from the each qualifying round that then goto the ''final battle'' in sydney....


the pics that are deserted are from the qaulifying rounds in sydney (which my friend took those pics,not many ppl goto them ) l only went to the final battle which is fully packed out( were the cars a better, and have there own stage, unlike the qaulifing rounds.)

Hmmm, go to the qualifying round of dragracing or even V8 Supercars and you can hardly breath from the crowds.

I guess it's chalk and cheese, rice grain or hotdog. heh :D

auto-salon has only been around for around 5yrs acca, and only ppl that read mags like Hot4's know about it.

i went and thought it sucked, i went to the summernats and throught it was cool

i hate rice cause its not real preformance its like 1/2"exaust into a 6" tip, i would rather a holden VS ute with a 383 stroker and lots of braided hose(not just cause its pretty)
