View Full Version : christine??? any one got the car from the movie? knightman 03-04-2002, 11:55 PM hi, any one got christine ? the 1957 plymoth fury from the movie? just got the dvd, pretty cool.. oh my birthday on the 21of march.. yeah:beer: Aussie Muscle 03-05-2002, 06:23 PM I thought of this car about 6 months ago, I got 1 or 2 pix from TV/MOVIE STAR CARS (http://www.javelinamx.com/carstars/tvcar2.htm) and not much else, certainly not a good start for making a nfs car. Anyway, i dont know why there hasn't been one made, i mean there are dozens of Yanks making cars, why they bother doing every consevable version of the pontiac and camaro and not some of the more interesting cars i guess we'll never know. I have started a few cars because 'they' haven't done them, like the impala, and i still haven't finished that 60 T-Bird (youd think there'd be queue of modellers doing thunderbirds). Maybe most editors find a finned fifties car still too much of a challenge. Btw, I have seen a version of The Car by Dodge Boy; it looked funny, but then, so did the real thing. :p Hey, you know what another neat movie/tv car would be? Yeah, 50's cars are harder to do than later models, seems, the older the harder, especially when you hit the 40's cars with all them big curved fenders. im all to aware of it and will encounter when i tackle the FX-FJ Holden.&( |
