I got a pile of hacks and mod and cars from Tappethead that he has collected over the years and it makes the game all the more interesting. I'm a terrible driver, but at least now if i smash out Dunne, he's not gonna win every time. The XY looks awesome, sounds awesome, its just got too much power for it's own good (my technique is to drop quickly to 4th and then try driving it straight). Don't try to hold your peddal flat all the time ..... Remember there is ABS in options ( low setting good enough) Give your cars more negatine rear camber than front (not to rediculous) and more rear downforce....... Then practise fishtailing and donuts for a while until u can get a feel for it...... And yes the XY GT is a bit too powerful...and will be tamed soon so if you a prototype save it separatly before installing the tame version........ :p Aussie Muscle 03-01-2002, 04:02 PM i dont hold the peddle flat all the time, infact its hard to get it as even with the slightest touch it goes balmy. I usually only get to full accelleration in top gear. im sure the full high po version should, nay MUST be released, just to give them a feel of true power, but we must stick a giant blower on it first, just to justify that power. In options/controls/tune (from main screen) you will find some really cool optins...... Now make your Accelator pedal a bit slower (half or more) that way you aren't just slapping the accelrator to the floor relasing all the mighty Ford in 1 quit hit....
