Press [Alt] and [P] at the same time, this will leave a file called nfs3_01 on your desktop. You’ll need an Image viewing or editing program that can handle Targa (.tga) files to view it; it’s a good idea to use that same program to convert your shot to a Jpeg (.jpg) file, if you ever want to mail it to someone or post it on the web.
You can take sceenshots both in the game and in the menus.
Tip: pressing F5 during a replay will hide the Heads Up Display that sometimes covers up the action. :)
Update: an easy-to use image editing program that is completely free, is Irfanviewer from http://www.irfanview.com (only 800 kb)
