View Full Version : problems using my wheel in the game. [XR]PIUS 05-11-2003, 05:22 PM I have a problem with the game not taking my gas pedal the use for the gas . This mean I can't use manual shifting because it's to hard working the buttons on the whell for every thing. I have the same problem with the F1 2002 game.:help: :help: :help: :help: I did download the latest patch. The patch looks like it made many changes. Did you guys notice any difference? I have the same question as Sean... what kind on wheel do you have.... and have you tried updating you drivers??? maybe getting getting some new ones? Damn that is so strange... My wheel is really screwed up when you put split axis... but not accepting a pedal is a completely different story... hope to hear from you soon bud... also hope all goes well with the fixing of this problemmo... Best of luck... :gavel: :Pamper: [XR]PIUS 05-11-2003, 10:31 PM I have a 'Nascar-Pro Digital 2'. The brake pedal went on me 2 months after I hand it. I use a button for brakes now. The gas pedal still works. The gear shifter broke on me. Glued it and I was able the fix it. This wheel has no drives for it. It doesn't need them for use. I first started with the 'Need For Speed' wheel, but some kid thought the shifter was cool and broke it. Plus the pedals on it are way to high and you feet get tired soon after. So I got the Nascar one. What I like about them over any other is that the clamping is the best. This baby never moves. :D The 'Nascar PD2' took the claping and looks of the 'NFS' but made the pedals like the 'Side winder'. Very easy on the feet. But it has no drives for it and with 'LFS' &'F1 2002' I can only get the buttons to work. The padals behind the wheel have broken on me from using them as my brake. So I'm down to just a few buttons on the wheel and the shifter. A pain tring to work them driving on manual and come up with a combo you can work with. :( It's just the gas pedal I can't get the game to eccept, and I need it if I want to drive manually. [XR]PIUS 05-11-2003, 10:41 PM One last thing. Do they have a bumper cam for driving like Porsche or at least an outside behide the car view? OK, one more thing. I find the steering very poor. It's like driving the 959 but even worse. And about the Views... press V to change views, there is a "Behind the wheels camera, and somewhere there is a option to take them off if u wish. thats it... hope u can make it in Chef's pit. |
