In this game it is quite simple to make a skin.
To start off you need a picture editing program, Photoshot is what i use and what a lot of others use at RCS (RaceSimCentral)
When wanting to start a new skin for any car, search for the normal skins, like: XF_GTI, XR_GT and XR_TURBO, not sure if the have underscore, but you get the point. Open either one of those in photoshop, and modify as you do fit. A good pont to remember is that if you go past the edge of the border on the car it LFS will discard that excess colour, so going over the lines is not a problem. Now when saving be sure to change the last part of the name, BUT, you must always have the XR or XF at the beggining of the file name, this is how the game rcognises the skin, so if you dont have XF or XR at the front it will not appear in the game. You must also remember to save it as a JPEG file type. When you are done saving and you would like to see your skin "In Game", you need to go either single player or multy, go to garage and select new color, name it, and make sure the whole car is white. Then click on the "color" tab that is on the same line with suspension and all that other stuff. Then near the bottom of the screen there should be a tab calles "XR_***" click on it, a list of skins will come up, and yours should be the first one listed. Click on it, and then the skin will be loaded.
Now go get photoshop and let me steal your ideas!
