I have a lot of anticipation for this mod too and for a variety of different reasons. Mostly because of the great set of cars !

I suspect it will be delayed a bit. JJ got hooked up with a guy to do sounds and he might wait for them. If he does not wait then we can probably anticipate a patch with them.

Either way, his F1s and F40s are looking great. Not to mention the Lotuses (Loti ?) and Venturis. I really hope the skin scene blossoms like it did for GTR02. I think that could be really cool !

I did actually download the mod, but, upon installing it, I thought, that, apart from the car models, and graphics, the car handling was a real disappointment.

After spending all the time downloading it, I'm now uninstalling it. :'(

At which point you'll discover that the readme file doesn't appear to have any uninstall instructions.. :rolleyes:

Chris, I found the handling a bit strange until I changed the controller settings to my liking.

I think the GTR mod is much better, but this one is also a lot of fun :)

After playing with this mod a bit more, I am really enjoying it :)

It takes a bit of fiddling to get it right, but it sure is a lot of fun :D

However, without a ranking site and telemetry tools it may not gain a lot of popularity.

I also predict that better engine sounds for the McLaren will emerge -^
