I will just point out to our new comers that until we find the time to collect our FAQs and set them up in an easy to navigate and an understandable fashion please direct your questions to the Main forum. (Top of index page or via the "Forum Jump" drop-down box at the bottom of this page)
We do get "off-topic" a lot there but it all comes together when it's related to games, software or PC probs.
Our staff and general members are always happy to help with efficent, informative, polite, correct answers.

I would also like to mention that this forum will not include any editing questions you may have. No matter how frequent they are asked. :D Well that's my understanding of this forum anyways.

Please use the "Editor's Suite" forum in regards to any editing questions.
Don't be affraid to post. We're here to help.

Thank you

heh Take 300 off my count as it jumped when I was trying to add "1 million" before my post count.

BTW, you are all being held back (governed) by using black. The internet has plenty of blue ink left. To bad I have a copyright on blue ink. :auswink:

P.S. Please don't rub your monitor, you'll smudge my post.

I've taken the liberty of editing the title of this thread, hoping that everyone who is new to this FAQ forum will take notice... (sorry about that, Acca :look: )

I once more would like to point out that the Main F.A.Q. forum here is not the place to ask questions, it is basically a 'Read-Only' forum.
We've decided to let the forum open to all visitors so that they could submit any helpful tips or solutions for issues on any of the long Need For Speed series, but any thread here will have to be 'verified' by one of the Staff members first, so it may take a little while before it appears, once it's approved.
This explains why a thread will not immediately show up, after being submitted.
New threads that are not made to contribute, but to ask for help, will not stay here but be re-directed to one of the following three forums:

If you have a question about the technical side of the game (errors, crashes, performance troubles, etc. ) I suggest you pay a visit to the forum we have set up specifically for this: the Online Racing and Tech Support Forum (http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=20)
Once you are there, please also take a moment to browse through the threads that have already been posted there, as major technical issues with NFS games have often been discussed before. Another help for this is the Search (http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/search.php?s=) function.
You didn't really think you were the only one with your NFS problem, were you? ;)

If you have a more common question, that is not necessarily technical, but still involves an NFS game and you'd like to hear some opinions on it, then feel free to use the Main Forum (http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=2) for that. It can be a very busy place at times, but since pretty much all regular visitors are experienced in several games from the NFS series, your question is unlikely to be ignored. :)

If you have a specific question about editing or 'modding' any of the NFS games, or you want to show off a car, track or other enhancement you've created, by all means visit the NFS Editors Forum (http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=5) Don't be shy.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
