View Full Version : Detroit Muscle is once again online RunR 01-04-2002, 02:11 PM Ok, thanks to jtace's fast work getting the servers back, we are back in business. If you haven't got the MOD yet, then get it NOW at http://detroitmuscle.racerplanet.com. :D MattB 01-04-2002, 02:52 PM :read: , l've heard lots of good things about Detroit Muscle, so l'll try and download it today or tommorow, how big are all the files for it??? Justin Martin 01-04-2002, 05:47 PM All of the files together are about 40mb, if you're on 56k, i'd recommend waiting, RunR and I may have an update in the works..... MattB 01-04-2002, 10:34 PM thanks justin, would the update involve???? Justin Martin 01-05-2002, 08:06 AM The update would be cars and traffic, most of the cars in DM right now are pretty old, RunR and I would like to update it with cars that meet current standards of detail. About 2/3 of the cars would be replaced with our plan. We also want to add traffic cars. But no promises, and no car list either, we're just discussing the possibility. DOHC 01-05-2002, 02:17 PM The MOD Looks really cool i might download it later, also if i can figure out how to convert MCO Cars i would be glad to contribute some cars to the mod, if you wanted because i bought the game a few months ago Justin Martin 01-05-2002, 03:59 PM Well, I really appreciate the offer, but we're not going to use any MCO cars in DM, for several reasons. For starters, it might make EA mad, which, granted, I would LOVE to do. :D Also, the detail and quality of the MCO cars isn't quite up to our standards, and there's enough 2000+ poly muscle cars out there to more than fill a mod. |
