Twice I have tried to post here asking for help to go negative in the Cooper at Monza. The first time I got a message saying the zipped file of a replay was too big (by a massive 3 KB) and lost my post.
I zipped it in ACE format (99 KB) retyped my post and got an invalid file type message.
Both times I lost the entire message in my post when I hit the back button
Given the various file compression types used today, and the small size limit for files on the forum I think ACE and RAR file extensions should be made valid attachments.
Now I don't give a damn whether anyone could give me some suggestions to help me get the stinking Cooper negative.

Sorry to hear Dave, one solution could be to first Ace it up in multiple parts (Options>filesize "99 KB") then to zip up all 4 part's seperately and post them as 4 attachments (large way around the bush but it would do the trick). Another solution would be to zip it up and upload it to a Geocities account and place the link over here.
Guess the 100 KB filesize limit is to prevent the server-hd from getting to full.

errrrrr, stupid me......should 've said..."why not zip up the ace file ?".... (clearly missed the essentials in your post, sorry) probably will not make it any bigger then the 99 KB size that way......might be worth a shot.

Dave, sorry for your frustration, but I just added .rar and .ace to the approved file extension list, and the size limit was already set to 102400 KB.

Here is a zip my replay and setup of the cooper at monza: 1:29.32 Cooper@Monza (http://vxdesigns.m2mag.com/etc/JND_Monza_Cooper.zip)
my pb now is a 1:29.15 i think, but that was online and I forgot to save the damn replay...DOH! Anyway, this one is still quite fast, and the setup feels really good. I hope it helps ya. :)

Thanks guys :)
I am such a slow terrible typist it is a labour for me typing what for me was a long post twice and losing it  I was talking to Rob (AccadaccA) about it last night on the phone and has experienced the same angst on many occasions.
Many thanks Mysh for changing the acceptable file extensions -^ and to John for the replay :D
I have attached my 1:30.58 replay below (fingers crossed) and welcome comments. From comparision with my other replays I seem to lose about .2 in the last sector (Diabolica :help: )

You have my PB in the Cooper beat by .07 secs Dave, so I don't think I'm much help. I compared the replays, and you were actually pulling away the whole first half of the lap (.3 secs ahead at 1/2 mark), and I caught up a bit in the second half, almost all in Parabolica (.2 sec time diff in last quarter).
If you think it will help at all, I could attach a replay a little later... 8)~

Thanks Mysh, that sounds like what happened comparing my 1:30.58 lap with my 1:30.57 and 1:30.59 laps. I lost most of my time at Parabolica.
I would like to compare my lap to yours if you would be so kind as to attach it here :)
I also compared my replay with Speckypete's and Steve Cloyd's replays (John's wouldn't open in GPLRA unfortunately) and compared to their laps I lost the most time though L1 and L2.
So what does that tell me? I am hopeless in corners
Oh well, back to trying to find those elusive few tenths :D
Dave
Update: I tried some laps using a slightly modified (to accommodate my limited abilities) version of John's setup. At first I was having trouble breaking 1:31 when suddenly BANG I did a 1:30.40 and then ran out of fuel on the next lap.
Only 2 tenths to go now

No problem John, just watching it helped a lot -^
That setup you used is based on one of Paul's isn't it? It is very similar to the modified PJ setup I use - except for the gearing mainly :D

Dave, since mine was an online race, I couldn't get the file very small... 404 kb, and I extracted only my lap. Oh well, I uploaded it to Total so here is a link for it:
Mysh's Monza Cooper 1:30.62 lap (http://www.totalnfs.net/mysh/Mik_Mys_monza_Cooper_1m 30.618s.ace)
I am not at all a fan of Monza, and it shows :D

Thanks Mysh :)
I actually like Monza because it is bot too demanding and that suits me just fine :D

That one should be based on a GH2. Paul's might be as well, but Ive never tried his. Most of Pauls setups I cant use, they just arent free enough for me.
