i got the v8 supercar mod for f12001, and i can't get it to work (boots normally even with the new .ini)
i followed the instructions carefully, but i guess something isnt' quite right. any tips would help.
I think i need this because i really am not enjoying the game in its default guise.

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. If you can be more precise, I might be able to help. I think it was the V8 mod that I had to do a separate installation of the game and then rename the config file to get to work properly.

He had very precise instructions, you have to make a copy of the tracks folder, not a full install. the config.ini is a dupicate called v8supercars.ini and he instructs how to copy your existing data from your config.ini

when i boot
f12001.exe config=V8Supercars.ini
it boots and has no graphics alterations or new cars, its just 'normal'
:late edit: darn, that link has been deleted. well i have it saved to my hdd at least.
