View Full Version : Turbo Mod D_Man 01-11-2003, 04:24 PM I finally downloaded the Turbo Mod, installed it and got it running. Man that was some ordeal :( Anyway, it is a great mod if you like turbo F1 cars from the 80s. Even then I had to do a separate installation of F1 2002 just for the Turbo Mod and renamed some files so it runs off the F1 2002 exe in that installation. It is a real hassle to get working properly :( but it is great to drive. Dave chris 01-11-2003, 09:16 PM What cars have they got in it? Is that 1580hp Mclaren Honda in it? That car had 1580hp in qualifying tune. It was awesome. The engine I believe was a 1.6 litre quad-cam 32 valve V8, with turbocharging. Unfortunately, when they did expire, they usually did so in a spectacular fashion, D_Man 01-11-2003, 09:55 PM Chris it has the McLaren, Ferrari etc - all cars are from the 84 to 88 era. I find it very different to drive and quite challenging in its own way ;) Lots of fun, but I am not in a position to comment on how realistic it is :rolleyes: Dave |
