I just broke a major milestone. I've been using a lot of setups from the fast GPL driver Jure Kalisnik (GPL Rank -77, Monster Rank -381). For the first time ever, I have a quicker time then him. In a field of 77 red combos, there appears a green one. Nurburgring in the Eagle...DCMattius 7:57.677, Jure Kalisnik 7:58.310. I saved the replay and setup and I'll throw it on my sight later.

You are too good at the ring matt... I hit a few nice milestones this past week as well, getting under 8 at the ring with a 7:59.47 and going below -60... -61.456 now. I did those with 3 pb's in one day...8:00.7 at the ring, 3:13.73 at spa, and a low 1:25 at monaco...I was really happy that day.

I was working on a 5 lap race setup for my lotus, and I did the two 7:59's back to back in that spread with the lotus...a .61 and the .47. I have really lost a lot of race consistency lately and becoming more of a hotlapper than anything. I would rather race better than have a good rank. But last week during TNT, I had a pole, a 1st, and two 2nd's in the the three Pro Short races. I was REALLY pleased with that. Those gave me some confidence that I was getting some consistency back. And then I win the Dixie Runner ring race tonight, that makes it all the more sweet. I am gonna have to give these kalisnik setups a try. But im sure this track is much more driver than it is setup. Well done matt. ....7:57...are you out of your mind? ;)

Congrats on that Dixie win and your ring times John. Reno and I were really thru at T1. I lost focus...shoulda been practicing on the servers rather than in training mode.

You're on your way Hank. Now you're leaving off the 10ths and 100ths, but when you get down to the low eights, you'll be counting those too.

I'll probably be on odd hours tomorrow thru Saturday so maybe we can race some then. I'm going out of town for a week after that. If I knew more about what these setups meant, maybe I could tune the car better. For now, I'm just fast at the ring (where setup isn't as critical).

7.57 At the Ring in an Eagle? I go absolutely bananas doing 3 laps there. The one thing I really enjoy is the online races at the Ring. But that 7.57? and then there was Paul doing a 7.59 with a Ferrari and now John? Your times are incredible. Now I know why Matt you used the Eagle for the Dixie race.. As far as me getting a sub 8 min at the ring. I don't think that will be happening anytime soon. Either way Awesome times there.:007:
