Welcome to the AlphaF1 GPL league.
We are a bunch of wannabe races who generally visit the Alphaf1.com site and its forums, and have recently started racing GPL oline against each. However, due to small numbers of drivers, we have started to branch out (we often only have 3 or 4 drivers a race).
We are a relaxed league, definitely based towards the amateur driver. None of us will claim to be great drivers, but enjoy GPL without taking it too seriously.
Although we call ourselves a league, we don't have a championship, just get together two or three times a week to race. We don't have strict rules either :
1. Its OK if you can't control your car! - if you spin, crash, or hit someone, as long as its not deliberate noone will mind! Just don't do it deliberately!
2. If you're ten seconds slower a lap than most people, don't worry, you'll still be welcome.
Just don't come with a bad attitude, and be prepared to enjoy some wild, fun races! Even if we're slow, and inconsistent, we've had some great battles in the past (not all our drivers are slow, some are quite good, but slow compared to some guys you see).
