first off, that is a pretty cheap site for that setup u got there:D may l ask were ur buying this PC from?
l take it that that AMD is the XP1900? thats a very good CPU
the only weakness l can find in the setup is the RAM and/or video card. the MX400 wont last u very long, maybe u could spend another $100 and try to get a GF2 GTS/PRO etc.....

the quote is from the place that suplies computers for the school where my mum works it is called "Mass Tech".
i have no idea what processer it is it just says 1.7GHz Athlon. and it might look cheap because im not getting a monitor cause (call me cheap) i have 3 14" monitors in my room 2 of which i dont use and the other one is hooked up to a P100 with windows 3.11
what do you mean it wont last very long, Are they a crap card? or do they have a tendency to bust themselves? (just curious, i try not to keep up with technolagy cause i dont want to be labled as as a "square")

sorry dylan about not explaining very clearly.
l dont know much about daytona so l wouldn' know if they busted or anything, l dont think there are many brands like that anymore.
l actually meant that the MX400 will be the bottleneck of ur new computer ,meaning that it will hold ur proccessor(CPU) down abit while playing newer games, it may be fine for todays games, but u will have to be buying a new video card as ur next upgrade .
the RAM shouldn't be a problem unless u like using alot of 3dprograms like 3DSMAX.
if u got any more questions dont feel afraid to ask,
PS: l know my shit, but l dont wanna be called ''Sqaure'' ^_^
