View Full Version : HELP, I have Problems installing GPL

Just tried to install GPL on my PC, I run Windows XP, and during the installation there is a popup message saying that I have have a newer version of Quicktime movieplayer, and I have to uninstall it before I can get a proper installation of GPL, but I can't find a way to uninstall my QT-player. Does anyone know what to do?
Can I run the game with XP, or do I have to run it with a 98/ME-pc?
Please help me, thanks in advance!

I installed on 98SE, but I think I got the same message. I just ignored it and continued with the install. I don't think Quicktime is used for game play or replays, maybe just the intro(? if there is one, don't recall seeing the intro either, but I got the UK version from soldout).
ya just ignore it, its only for the intro.

It's not even the intro, it's simply an AVI file placed into your GPL folder, it doesn't play at game start so it will have no effect on GPL when installed.

It was my graphics-driver in XP, needed Glide-function, but it works fine at the ME-pc, wow, this looks great! Just like a dream comes truth :)
