Big Time Help Needed With Downloaded Cars

Hey all, i love Porsche Unleashed, but im havin tons of trouble downloading cars and installing them. And seeing as how most of you create the cars, i hope u know how to install them internally i.e. individual folders on windows explorere and help me out! The official cars for PU's site along wtih every other car will not install on my system. I had the downloaded version of the game before i got the CD version, and with the downloaded version all of the cars installed successfully. With the CD version, cars willl NOT install. I get an Error message saying 'Could not install patch' I didnt do ANYTHING different to my system between versions. I really need some help because i need the official cars, i cant play on most online games without them. I'd really like to know im gettin what i paid for.

hmmmmm...... dats odd dude. I got da original n a d/led version of porshe unleashed. N I dunno, it worked with my cracked version, and it worked with my original. But i tried installing it recently n it said da same thing it said 2 u, all i can advise but i dont know 100% sure it works it 2 uninstall nfs5 n reinstall it (coz if u didn't uninstall ur cracked version correctly it sumtimes doesn't work... like if u just deleted the cracked version instead of uninstalling it properlly..... if u know wot i mean) neways i have no idea how 2 install it internally coz i dont know much about computers n shit. But try wot i said it could work ;) But if Ne1 know how 2 help dis guy out with his problem reply.

I am sorry I personally may not be of any help either as I haven't downloaded any cars for PU but the default path to install them manually would be:
C:\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed - Porsche Unleashed\GameData\CarModel

That is of course if you let the game install to that "default path".
If not right-click your mouse on the shortcut link and select "Properties". This will tell you where the game is installed.
If it says C:\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed - Porsche Unleashed\
then unzip your downloaded PU cars there (as mentioned) in your "GameData\CarModel" folder.

Hope it gets you racing the downloads.
