quote from Matt Lucas on the scgt forum at RSC:
Bassguy has suggested a "Create a drag strip competition." Besides the obvious two candidates of myself and BG do we have any other takers?
Very few rules here that I can see or propose. We should use the AIW and timing from BG's Rockridge strip because we know they work and why reinvent the wheel? Beyond that it is up to you.
Closing date to be confirmed, but I would suggest about 10 days from now to keep it short and sweet.
This is a great opportunity for a few people who may have wanted to play at creating tracks but been a little overawed by it to try their hand. How much easier could it be to collect a few stands and the like from existing tracks and dump them along a straight and flat stretch of road?
