So close!

I just ran 3 low 1:28s at Monza in a row in my trusty Eagle. Whoohooo. Felt good too. I can almost taste 1:27s!

I did 1:28.17, 1:28.13 and 1:28.11 in a row. I think I could go a good bit faster, but after all this time I'm STILL feeling out the limits of these cars. heh. Plus I'm not the most consistent (even though these times may say otherwise... actually, I think the last lap should be even quicker considering how little fuel was on board... well, whatever :))

I had the pleasure of racing with Paul and John the other day. John clicked off a very low 1:27 in his Lotus during qualifying! Awesome bit of driving, I'd say.

I do have a replay if anyone's interested, but I don't yet have access to NFSCheats' FTP so I can make my personal folder again :( Although that's probably for the better of racerplanet ;) lol. I like to pile all sorts of stuff in there. Had some racing videos, Detroit Auto Show pictures and miscelaneous stuff like sig pics. heh

Hehe...I'm using it but I'm still at 1:29.xx :D

I'm now cycling through the different tracks changing all cars to complete my Monster rank and, after struggling with the BRM and the Cooper to have decent times, I usually improve my PB on the Lotus or the Eagle by 1-2 seconds...;)

Monza is not in the schedule for the next week or the following, but I'm sure I can improve it as I always do when I get back to a track that I'm not racing for a while (hehe...I'm still in the steep part of the learning curve...e.g.: I'm still a rookie :rolleyes: )
