Hey racers,

I've heard about an addon that makes you're head tilt towards the apex when turning into a corner.

Have any of you guys heard about such a thing? If so, is it worth anything and where could I get it?

p.s. I've had EA's F1 2002 for a while but nothing
can beat the driving fealing of GPL!

thanks

I think you want the GPL Glace utility. Check this thread:

thanks D_Man , I'll be trying it out this week end.

Have you tried it yourself?

As you may find in the thread linked by Dave, some find it useful and some not...I think it's useful in narrow tracks like Monaco, to see the hairpin's inside, but I don't like it much in other tracks where I'm countersteering most of the time...

Oops...posted this in the wrong thread.... sorry...

DC_Tox, you're getting really fast at GPL. I didn't think I would get much better after the month I worked on GPL rank, but after seeing your continous progress, there may be hope for me after all. I've neglected GPL for almost 2 months, busy at work, and my game time was spent re-doing evolution mode (5th time is a charm?), to improve setups on the cars, and to test an investment strategy (it works, accumulate $1 million in 1956, spend almost all of it on investment cars, left with $67.5k in cash, collecting all 80 cars, and end up with $24 million in 2000). Also got a few descent offline times (since you start at the front of a pack, it helps), like 1:58.xx at zone with the GT1, and 1:59 at Pyrenees backwards with the 95, with traffic on....

Finishing up the two tier trees in NFS HP2, and it's back to GPL for me. Still using the twin joysticks for control, as there's a stick player with a rank of -80. I'll be happy if I can ever get to zero or slightly negative.

arcoli, as Tox said, it's good on some tracks but not so good on others. I am still experimenting with different settings. I like it on Spa to get the hairpin right and it's great on Kyalami and Mosport. However, I find it a problem on Mexico in some cars like the BRM where I am doing a lot of counter-steering.

I tried it quit a bit and could not get use to it.
It helps as you said on a tight turn like at monaco but still I find you have to be very stable with the wheel. If you are correcting with counter steering it looks funny. I also tried it with only the g-force on... made me feel sick :) It's a good idea but it needs a gook setting. If you find something interesting in the setting... pls let me know. I'll do the same but I'm not there yet
