View Full Version : Downloaded Cars Axe 01-02-2002, 02:15 PM I have downloaded the cars that EA provides for Porsche Unleashed and the setup ran smooth and the cars are located in the correct directory, however, in the evolution mode I cannot find the cars on my list. These downloads are not hacks, they are the "download of the month" provided by EA. Can someone please tell me what I need to do? Thanks in advance... Remko 01-02-2002, 02:35 PM I'm sorry, but those downloaded cars (928, 959, GT2 and GT3) cannot be bought in evolution mode. As a result they cannot be tuned or upgraded either. :( Much to the chagrin of many NFS PU players, they can only be driven in Quick Races... Viperman 01-02-2002, 04:30 PM Well there is a way to buy them. But if you race online I wouldn't suggest it as many racers will think you are cheating if you have them in your garage. It is a simple patch that allows you to purchase all the EA cars in Evolution mode. That way you can have whatever paint job or engine tuning settings you wish. Again I wouldn't reccomend it if you race online but you can find it at http://nfs2000.de under NFS Porsche Unleashed files. I would suggest using http://world.altavista.com/ <-- that website to translate it into english. That way you know what file you are downloading. :p |
