Recently I have explained the way things work with folks posting and asking for opinions of their current masterpieces and how a thousand folks may view the thread but only four or five reply.

Well that was all explained and it's nothing really as many folks read these forums without ever posting or registering at all. Then some of us return to reread the same thread for another view of the pic(s) or read the new replies. She's cool

But what is annoying is when you answer someone's question and then you see them reading your reply (who's online shows which thread they are reading) yet they still don't say something like "okay thanks, I'll try that" or anything at all.

Ignorant pricks!!!&(

Anyway that's my gripe for now, have a great day. :D

I can dig what ya sayin because sometimes when you post stuff people will just sit there and look at it and then sign-ogg just to come back the next day and see whats new and I think they do that to see how many people actually reply to it not to get responses because I used to do that. If they realy wanted are opinions they would actaully reply instead of just looking. Most people only post when they need some help or need to find sompin that they are to lazy to find but thats just what I think so dont re[ly mad at me or send mee bad e-mails even though I get thenm even when I dont mess with anyone. ^_^

l try to post replys when ever l read the editors suite. l ask most of my questions to kev in aussiemuscle, but when someone shows off there work l normally give them incouragement(even tho most dont need it:D )

Matthew : Thanks for defending me in my absence and I know I addressed a certain type of people as "ignorant pricks" but I didn't point the finger directly at one person to single them out. That is otherwise known as flaming and I have to agree with it not being very mature.

You directly pointed the finger first and led young Matthew by example so perhaps you shouldn't judge others who do the same as yourself.

I honestly hadn't seen your reply before just now (following the link). I did return once to check for any replies a few hours after posting it but that was all. There wasn't a reply then. I'm sorry if that offended you but I was so hell bent on solving the problem I stuck at it until I had things right. That didn't come for some time.
The next few days I couldn't reply to some posts without it hanging, then no posts at all and finally it got to the point where I couldn't even open threads to read without an error message. By that time I forgot about that thread and gave up on the site all together to continued to edit my cars & trucks until the Hard Drive was constantly making grinding noises and I had to change to yet another Hard Drive. If you could witness all that my system has been doing (or not doing) lately you would understand my not replying was certainly not an act of ignorance.
I do appologise though, for not remembering to back track once I was up and running again.
BTW, the car damage works fine since changing Hard Drives. Same method I was trying before. Although my game still is missing some of it's display. Some car and track textures, no needles on the heads up display (speedo & tacho) and the map is just the dots in an outlined window. Car engine and sound effects work fine but not the horn or cops sirens. Not that you give a rats arse but I will bore you with the details anyway :D
In a matter of approximately 2 weeks: 2 Hard drives, monitor, SCSI CD, SCSI CDRW, video & sound have all died.
We have put it down to either power supply or motherboard killing all of my periphials. I said "we" as it is a well known fact of my PC probs here and many have offered suggestions to the possible cause.
A lot of my software doesn't function properly either, perhaps that is because what ever this is, it's slowly killing my Hard Drives. Just the other week it killed HD #3, a borrowed HD at that. The owner was aware of the possibility before loaning it and he is fine with it diing. Infact he has given me this one to inadvertedly kill as well.

Would you like a screenshot as proof to show what HS is like on my system?

My gripe here was not so much of folks not retuning to reply, but rather, even when you see the question asker reading your reply and they leave without droping a quick line to acknowledge the reply. Even when it's not my reply I still think "well what an ungreatful prick".
Not retuning to read the reply is a slightly different matter. Not being able to reply is simple out of my control. I admit I should have looked for the thread again but a lot had passed since then.

I know this is all in vain because you have had a grudge against me for many years. So take it or leave it but that is the way it was.

The XP thread was linked by you in your post. As with the first link you entered in that post we have to assume it was also some proof of my "ignorance". Just that one word "for" in stead of "of" makes the whole sentence twisted. That's why both Matthew and I mentioned it. Like you say you didn't tie me personally to the XP thread but your misuse of one word made it appear that way. Easy mistake, shit happens, don't be too hard on yourself when you finally see it. :D
