View Full Version : electronic arts is goin down the tubes bader214 02-02-2002, 07:47 PM first they took the Porsche Unleashed site off of their own site, so now no one can download those cars needed for most multiplayer play, and now whenever u do download cars from a different site, the internet gaming option goes to shit. I downloaded the GT1 F50 and now my online account wont login on the game. what the hells wrong wtih these people? jtace 02-03-2002, 08:16 AM Hmm.. http://www.needforspeed.com still has NFS PU as an website. You can download the cars from there or go to ftp://ftp.ea.com/pub/ea/demos/nfspu/ and get them from EA's ftp site. The GT1 car you say you downloaded, isn't one of the few official ea cars so that might be the problem. There's a GT2, GT3, GTS and a 959 to download. :) RCracer 02-03-2002, 01:18 PM i had the same problem with downloaded cars, far as i know i didn't do anything to my computer and after about a week it just started working online again. DC_Targa 02-04-2002, 07:56 AM All download cars aside from the 4 EA created cars mentioned are hacks/cheats. Some of them might modify your persona file in a manner that will mess up online play. Be aware that running hacks on-line is a clear violation of EA's rules of conduct. And if you are seen running hacks on-line, there are a lot of people that will record your indiscretion and make it a point to NEVER allow you to run in their pit. So if you wish to play around with non-EA downloads, my suggestion is to create another persona and never attempt to use that one on-line. Regards, DC_Targa |
