I've only just come across SCGT, a little late I think as many of the download links no longer work. Are there any classic British sports cars from the 60's & 70's out there? Mg's, Healeys, Triumph's, Lotus 7's. Jaguar E-type etc. ???? I want to collect them all!

Also is there a utility that will rename files automatically to make re-painted cars-stand alone more easily?

Thanks, if anyone can help

Guy

Did you go through the links at SNR (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/saturdayniteracing/) ?? I checked them a couple weeks back and removed any dead links. I know Mika2000 has a couple Jaguars.

Also Speedsims (http://www.speedsims.com/) should be back soon, they are changing servers but it is the ultimate SCGT site, some of the Guru's are hanging around at RSC (http://forum.racesimcentral.com/) while SS is down.

I put together a car set from Mika2000 (http://users.pandora.be/mika2000/index.html) using some of Kim's Vintage racers:

ferrari1.zip
jagdtype.zip
jagetype.zip
maserati.zip
mercedes.zip
vehiclefiles.zip(new veh for the jag D and the merc 300)

He has a few oldies there, many are set for the LM65 class but I edited the veh to run them with the hccar.exe in the 50s class.

They handle a bit too well as is but with the AOE set to "60s Sports Car\slickgrass\original drive" they are a blast on tight tracks like Eville beach or Mosport.

guymassey, you have probably found these by now, but if not, http://mika2000.shrimpwars.be/index.html is working and the cars are great
