1. TRACTION HELP FOR A ROOKIE .......PLEASE !!!
I've had GPL for a while now but get incredibly frustrated at the cars lack of grip, especially once in a slide. (Admittedly, I haven't tried much on the set up side like some of you pro's out there !).

Sometime ago I saw got into some sites showing this "superslipgrip" fix to give +- 30 % more grip, but I cannot seem to get it to work. I am only a 3 finger typist so maybe I'm not typing it as fast as it apparently requires,.... and does it start with a capital 'S' as some of the sites specify???.

Pse can someone put me out of my misery and tell me EXACTLY how to get this fix working and whether it is possible to automate /auto load it when going into the program (and if so how do do so !!!??).

2. SPORTS CAR DOWNLOADS AVAILABLE FOR GPL ?
Are there any downloads of the classic 70's sportscars (GT40, 908, 917, 512 etc) available to race on GPL (like in Sports Car GT)???

3. RALLY TROPHY SUPPLIER IN SOUTH AFRICA
Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a copy of Rally Trophy in SA as the major retailers here don't stock it and our postal service is notorious for not getting interesting looking boxes from overseas suppliers to their local addressees!!!

Thanks for your attention to my request.

As far as I know there are no "cheats" for GPL. It would defeat the whole purpose of the game and knowing the devotion of the developers it is just not something they would do. The game is challenging and worth persevering with.

There are no sports car downloads for GPL as the physics would still be the same and attempts to put a sports car body on cars have resulted in substantial clipping.

Can't help with the 3rd question at all.

Many thanks for your prompt reply Dave......really would have liked to go the cheat route, but I guess I'll have to spend a few hours fiddling with setups !!!

Hehe... when you'll be addicted to GPL like us, you'll thank god that there're no cheats ;)

Anyway, if you really want some help for "easy" and "low slip" setups, go to Allison Hine's website here (http://eaglewoman.simracing.dk/gpl/setups.htm) and look for her "beginner's" setups
