That would have to be the meanest looking Audi I've ever seen. It's the new Audi RS6 Their is an equally menacing looking RS6 Avant, as well, for when you need to get the kids to school in a real hurry.. ^_^
The technical specifications for the engine are overwhelming:
It has 450hp, and 550Nm of torque, from its 4.2 litre turbocharged V8. It scorches along to an artificially limited 250km/hr top speed. Acceleration is aided by Quattro AWD.

I've already decided that the RS6 is the car I want when I get out of college. I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, in five years or so, 2003 models will have depreciated enough that I can afford one. ;)

not quite sure abt the 'mean' thing tho, was u talkin about looks? the engine? or both?
The, engine, and the style. The styling just boils with aggression, look at the wheels, and the prominently flared wheel arches.
It's definately not your ordinary old bland A6 2.4 snooze-mobile. Fair enough, the A6 2.4 is pretty nice inside, and looks okay, but, that 2.4 litre V6 isn't going to scare any one though, with its modest power output, and above average weight.
This RS6 is entirely different.. This is Audi's way of exacting revenge on BMW (M5), Mercedes Benz (E55 AMG), and HSV (GTS 300, SV300 and Senator 300)..
If you've ever been in an Audi RS4, or seen one accelerate, you'll understand the scare factor that these RS spec Audis have. The acceleration is unbelievably violent, and forceful. Even the RS4, with a 2.7 litre Biturbo V6 is scary fast!
well wat about the Ausi S6? that has the same engine just not turbocharged. Right? Still it looks good and would be a good car to drive around in with ur mates.
Audi S6 has the 4.2 litre V8, and Quattro, but "only" 250kW@7000rpm, and 420Nm of torque to move it along with. The much more sedate power and torque outputs are to do with the fact it has no twin-turbocharging, or intercooling.
It's swift, but, not as scary-fast as the brutal RS6.
THe difference in performance between S6 and RS6 is fairly similar to that between the S4, and the crazy RS4 Avant (estate/station-wagon). The S4 is good for 0-100km/hr in 5.6 seconds, but the mad RS4 Avant blows it away, doing 0-100km/hr in less than 5.0 seconds. (And yes, it's a station-wagon too).
I'd be happy enough with an S6, as well, but, the RS6 would be the ultimate (if it didn't get hit with super-exxy special risk insurance), which is a bummer.. Even a 911 Carrera would be cheaper to insure.
