It will be the racing game of the year!!

Look at E.A.Sports history of great photo-realistic PC games such as the Superbikes series and those soccer games etc. which were great a couple of years ago and got even better with each version released.

I'd put money on this game to, no sweat.


Just look at the attention to detail they even put into hotdog stands and even porta-loos.
There game play has always been great too.

For those who can't tell the larger background image is the photo of the real object and the smaller highlited image (in the right bottom corner) is how it looks in the game.

I agree that V8 Challenge looks very promising, definately a step to the next level as far as EA racers are concerned. -^

I've been told the 11th and I've also been told the 14th by software shops. All the site says is Feb 2002.


But to truly answer your question, not soon enough!!!

Looks fantastic, and the best kind of racing in the world IMHO.
The keys to the whole thing will be car physics and online play, as in how many can play in an IP race on modems without
severe lag.
Could be a boon to the OZ economy, all those exports ;) I know one guy in South Africa who joined a line up for pre-orders
at his software store!

the pics looks promising, but l am not gonna say much till play the game, it could turn out like dickhead(johnson) racing, when it was released it looks stunning, but played like shit.......
