We managed to fix a DC meeting online for GPL, and some XRs joined in the middle of the night (oh, well, afternoon for everyone except me...hehe).
With that I started my online adventure with GPL and must say I'm very excited about that...reminds me when I did it for the first time with NFS... but way better!!!
The results are much better than I expected:
1. I didn't push out anyone or crashed into anyone who was racing near/in front of me.
2. I didn't mess up at the start (actually, I even managed to slip by a huge crash in front of me where 3 ppl were packed into eachother and zipping around..)
3. I reached the end of all completed races
So, I was highly satisfied. But the candy came at the end, at the last race of the night: see the pic

Hehe...I must confess that Chef was actually winning the race (about 6 seconds in front of me at lap 9) but suddenly disappeared from the ranking and was regarded as -3L at the end (although he was still there with us), probably because he partially lost the link with the server at lap 9.
I also had luck with all the others, who messed up a little bit and helped me slip by and win.
But, ya know, it's sweet all the same! ^_^
