Oh, by the way, has anyone else seen the new motorcycle that Dan Gurney's been working on for awhile? http://www.allamericanracers.com/alligator/alligator_home.html

Gurney's got a long history of involvement with motorcycles, from making custom frames, etc. for Chuck Palmer's 4-stroke twin roadracers (early '70's), to facilitating wind-tunnel testing for Honda, and lots of Yamaha connections (and Yamaha has also long been heavily involved with Toyota's racing engine development, and we know Gurney has been tight with Toyota).

This is a neat bike; he doesn't reckon it will make any money whatsoever (he's put an enormous amount into it) but he just wanted to try something different.

It's ummm, different. When I saw the pics on the page you posted, I thought, man, that is gonna be one weird riding style. But I looked in the photo gallery, and they have some pics of people riding them, it actually doesn't look too bad. It'd probably be really confortable on long trips, expecially for a sport bike.
