i read your tutorial about nfs4 car editing and it was useful. but i have a problem now. i made my first car with zmodeler and i have it mapped on a bmp file not tga. so how can i make a suitable tga file out of bmp which i could use to edit alpha channel. i CAN, however, save my texture as tga but it doesnt have alpha channel so i can't edit colors and so on. thank you.

Okay, the easiest way to do this would be to open up an exsisting car00.tga, copy your texture and then paste it into the car00.tga.

HS is pretty picky about the .tga setttings and such, it's always easier to copy and paste into a exsisting car00.tga instead of attempting to get the settings right.
