Hi,

it seems that I'm unable to generate screenshots in GPL.

The files are created as written in the readme file, but they are always 0 (zero) byte long and, obviously, convert to nothing with the Targa converter...

This is a problem, because the only other way to have them is press printscreen and then exit the game... not always possible and anyway unconfortable... because I can't ALT-TAB (it's disabled in WinME??? )

The other way round is to run the game in a window by modifying the core.ini "Fullscreen" setting, but then the frame rate drops significantly: around 30fps at 800x600 windowed, 26fps at 1024x768 - which I use for screenshots - while it's around 35 and 30fps respectively in fullscreen mode.

Any hints?

I use QScreen to get screen grabs - multiple if needed. It's a great freeware proggy. The other way is to just go Alt-Print Screen and then paste it into Paint or another picture editor program. My grab of the Cooper dash in the other post was done this way. I used Paint Shop Pro 6 to resize it and convert it to a JPEG.

Good luck

Dave

I made a long research through search engines but couldn't find it, can you please post a link to a download site?

What I need is exactly a multiple screen-shot grabber that should work while GPL is is full screen mode without exiting the game...

Thanks

Thanks Dave -^ -^ -^

I downloaded and it's a simple but GREAT tool!!!

Now I spare a lot of time on many captures, both from PU and from GPL, and you can even capture from the menu screens...:)
No more ALT-TABbing or PrintScreen and re-edit in Paint Shop!

Thanks again!
