Here's the new pic, it keeps getting closer to completion. Rather than spend alot of time explaining what needs to be done, i'll just copy my genuine to do list for yall to see. :D
body
add a few more decals
finish making cameras (10 total, the top view you see in the pic is one)
finish front spoiler
finish and map underbody
investigate using tinted windows and a interior, like Stecki's Celica GT
lock body.dof
interior
fix HUD guages
redo dash textures (maybe)
tires
make calipers for brakes
map brakes and calipers
get rid of chroming on tires
Some of this requires learning out how to do it, like making the tinted windows and removing the chrome from the tires but not the wheels. I had alot of time to work on it last weekend, hopefully, my homework load this weekend will be light enough to finish it.
Also, it is now up to three textures, one 512x512 for the main body, and two 256x256, one for wheels and the other for taillights. That's, umm, 1.5mb for those of you who are counting. ;) The taillights look fabulous, thanks to the high res pics Remko scanned for me back when I made my original 240Z. -^ In NFSHS, I had to resize them very small to fit into the single texture, but in Racer I can make them a seperate big texture. :D
I'm using the dashboard view from my NFSHS 240Z, so far, it's an unchanged conversion, though I may remap the gauge textures to a second texture to get better quality. I'll post some pics from different camera angles when I get the rest of the cams set up.
