AN OPEN INVITATION TO ALL

For those who are not already aware I have decided to start my own V8C competition

I have posted ver. 1 of th rules here goofball.mysitespace.com/champion.htm

Basically I will organise internet races every so often, on a chosen track with chosen laps. This will all be pre chosen, as will the dates,

What I need is a list of people interested, and the car (team) you would like to use. By this I mean the skin, such as HRT or any other car in the game, or a secondary skin such as 00 Motorsport, DJR etc.

So Far we have HRT #1 + 2, 00 Falcon, HYL #02 taken and an older one reserved (though thats not a worry because it probably wont be used this season)

It's based on a first come first serve, and I have the right to cancel anyone with justification.

I also need to know the times you would all be online, say for a 10 or 20 lap race every 2 weeks or so

There will be a chat on Yahoo! Australia (www.yahoo.com.au) next week for those interested so we can share ideas in real time. All are welcome

i had a look in the rules and i would love to be a part of it. I would like to be the ultratune car if i could and for the drag racing, why not use mantorp long or short?

Ok, count yourself in.

I was thinking of them tracks because of the massive drag strip.

Once gain its one of them things where there will be no exact finish line so on the day it would be anyones guess if it was a neck and neck race.

But its good to have another person involved.

From memory we have

Me as HRT #1
Matt Button as HRT #2
Kev as 00 Motorsport #00
you as Ultratune whatever number (too late to think!)
VQ Caprice dude is part of it but not a racer as he dont have a game
and , oh crap I forgot the last person:rolleyes: but someone else who I cant think of.

I am looking at a late Saturday night (like 9:00 so its not too late) race, with 2 10 lap races except Adelaide + QLD which will be 1 15 lap race and Bathurst which will be 1 20 lap race. On average we will be done by about 9:30.

30 mins before (so 8:30) I will log on and get the ISP sorted out for our race and post the isp here in this forum. Everyone can come along and have practice laps before hand and get everything sorted out. Weather will be a 50/50 decision on all tracks done 1 hour beforehand, so a practice run may help.

Umm, other than that wait for the start date and track details.

Mate u r on the ball! It would be easier if u have a password setup thing so that members in the race can actually only have us in in it coz it pisses me off when i have a one race thing and everyone how has had enough decides i will go in here and destroy the other cars. It is ok if it is organized.

yeah, that sthe reason why I am using my own ISP address instead of a dedicated server ... so only us racers can have access, and we are guarranteed not to be kicked off (unless I get disconected :'( but I dount that will happen often, if any.

Well you count me in now that I have V8 Challange but 1 question is the Melbourne track Sandown or Albert Park cos some of it is like one and then it is like the other help? Yeah and I'll be Gary Roger motorsport if it is in the game #35

it is sandown and the valvoline cars aren't in it. Bugger!

As for the car your after I have it here on file somewhere.
