Anyone from SA, VIC, NT, TAS or NZ??

The reason I ask is that Y2kGoofball and Andywoo1 are making NFS cop cars for each state of Aus.

Recourses are limited so we need to know if any of the above states (or territories or countries) use Holden Commodore Exec (usually with steel rims as seen on later model Commodores), SS (if you dont know what an SS is then to put it easily the sports car version) or both.

I need to know also if the cars are V8 or V6 engines.

The reason is NSW uses the Executive with V6 engines and the SS with V8 engines, but I think from memory WA uses all Execs with V6 and V8s or something.

And we also need just one person from these states to test them out before there released to check detail etc.

In SA we have execs for V6's and V8's, i will gladly test for detail and stuff like that, are you using customised plates or government ones. Our government ones are white with light blue writing if you aren't using customised plates

Look VERY carefully in the background in that pic, and you can see an AU Falcon Station Wagon with major front end damage.

Y2K, EVERY cop car in WA is an Exec, just they have been de-badged (No identifying Model badges, or engine badges, not even in the dash!) But you can tell they are Exec's by the interior. Its all plastic with no good trim, and it has a crap radio.

Y2K, I tried to test the WRX you sent me via email, but it wouldn't show up in the ingame menu. Haven't taken it into NFS Wizard just yet, but I should be able to later tonight (Setting up a dual boot with Windows XP and Windows 98SE after this post.)

Honda HRV's are smaller in lenght, and are taller in hieght (comparing to the Merc next to it.)

That is an AU Wagon, look at the front bumper and you will see. Also, that paintjob is very very close to what you can get on an AU Wagon.

Also: Honda HRV's do NOT have hubcaps.

sorry. We have had internet troubles like you wouldnt believe.

We are changing ISP's but we cant until mid - feb because we pay for 3 month sections and the 3 months finish mid feb.

love the SA cop car, it's great, don't worry to much about the blue squares, they aren't that important it looks great how it is.
maybe a few aerials and other accesories would make it stand out from the typical 'grab a car paint it white and blue and write police all over it' kind of job anyways, good job :clap:

I am adding antennas - maybe a mobile phone antenna (you know the ones that stick to the windows??)

I also have heaps of cop stuff - some which may not be on them in real life but may look good for NFS like Radar gun for the roof.

No I haven't run off, I'm still here...

If thats a HR-V, then why is it soo long? Don't say its because its got 4 doors, because I'll say it again, HR-V's ride higher! They are a Soft-Road 4WD, not a 2WD Road car that will never see the beaten track. Get your facts right mate.

the pic you so kindly gave us was of a 2 door, the trashed one is foor doors and its parked way in front of the merc (the rear bumper is at its windscreen) anyway, its definately not an AU falcon, can u agree with that?????

but the roof is very straight when most modern sation wagons are rounder. it's also alot further forward than i originally thought, maybe even at the pillar separating the front window and the rear

Man, I am telling you now, that is an AU Wagon! I know my cars.

Do all the research you like, or even goto www.carsales.com.au and look for a 4-door HRV and you will see, it is much taller than the car in that pic. You can even visit Honda (doubt you will get anywhere there...) and look up the HR-V. It is, an AU Wagon.

Mickcals reckons it's probably a 4x4 of some sort (which yes ... some sort^_^ ) or a Subaru Station Wagon of some kind.

And Mickcals would know if it's an AU mainly because 1) HE's A FORD BOY and 2) They own a AU station Wagon of the same colour :jawdrop: !!!!

Who better to ask then someone who owns an AU station wagon. Gees!!

The cop cars are great - only NSW left to do in the Exec style then a couple of SS cars to do fore the states which use SS commodores. I think only 2 or 3 of them though.

Falcons I am definately leaving alone.

When I do the NSW car I will release them all.

Finally we are all talking again. the cars gone ... glad it's not me that owns it or not me or anyone I know in it when it had the prang.

hey matt (y2k), lately i have been seeing some VXII's with jumbo UHF style aerials on the back bumper of the coppers cars.
i dunno if you want to put this on your car (prob. too late now anyway) but its something which you don't see everyday in the city of churches

Yeah I noticed that on a few extra pics I got.

We use the same in the NSW rural Fire service communications landcruisers.

They are huge antennas like bolted to the tow bar. Being a landcruiser the towbar slides out so we can take it out.

With the antennas - I might give the cars to someone to add them (sort of like real life -give it to someone to put them on!!!)
