The only thing it worries me - are there any chances to recover at least some part of the old threads? They were 'golden mine' of knowledge about PU and other topics for me and i feel really lost without them?

Glad to see a few more members re-registering here. In my fax to Porsche I mentioned 1600+ members here at Total. I'm hoping if they come looking here they read enough to realize that the server crash wiped the forums and membership. To bad, because I really wanted them to get a flavor of the PU players sentiments.

I have yet to hear from either Porsche AG or Porsche US. But in my wanderings around Porsche.com I did find the name of the manager of "Brand Development" who's accomplishments included working with EA to develop our favorite game. I intend to send a slightly modified version of my original fax to his attention and request acknowledgement of its receipt.

EDIT: I sent a slightly modified version of my original fax addressed directly to Mr. Peter Metzdorf, Manager of Brand Development, at Porsche AG about noon, Pacific time Christmas day. It makes note of Peter's involvement with the development of PU. Since we lost all our old threads here I removed the link to Totalnfs.net and simply mentioned thousands of registered members on various Internet message forums. The fax cover sheet specifically requested e-mail or phone confirmation that all pages of the fax were correctly received. Since I will be home on vacation for a couple of weeks, I requested he contact me directly to further discuss the situation.
