The TCDT Club Circuit is an excellent little track, featuring tight corners and lots of elevation changes. Even though it is marred by many seams, I still recommend it highly. The elevation changes make it a great place to learn how to handle your "polar moment of inertia". (See Concepts for tuning your car V1.0.txt in the files\setup info section. An unabashed plug for my new "book". <g>) When you crest the hills, the rear end gets light and will take off on you if you don't handle it properly.
We had 5 racers tonight and all squeezed into BC's pit. Lag was bad, but tolerable. Doug had another runaway, taking both heats. (Ho-hum, so what else is new? LoL) Seams and course penalties in the esses took their toll of the other racers. To say nothing of the usual mistakes and spins for everyone. Mistakes come easy at this track.
Heat one, 20 laps. Of note in this heat is TC/KM's fine 3rd place finish. While slower, TC shows that "to finish first, you must first finish". Steady, consistant driving earned him a spot on the podium. Well done, TC!

Heat 2, 40 Laps. Congrats to T2 for his fine second place finish only one lap behind Doug! Well done T2! McG deliberately took a course penalty on lap one, then pitted to see if the penalty would be cleared. It was not, dropping McG to 5th place even though he was in third on the track. He struggled mightily getting up to 2nd place before fatigue required that he pit and rest at about the 25th lap. After resting and getting a new set of tires, he went on to post his best lap of the night, exactly one second slower than Doug. Well done, McG!
