piss poor effort from EA sports

Not the game, their effort in telling us what kind of updates, patches, expansion packs are on the way.

they have not replied in the official forum for donks, nor have they made new skins. i mean, who wants a bob jane T-mart ute when there are still Ozemail, Castrol racing, K-mart racing and az couple of other skins sporting 2001 livery.

c'mon EA, lift your game, because its not in it

EA stopped talkin on the forums right after release, not hard to guess why?

Its obvious the game was underfinished, and needs a patch to fix some stuff up, but they just run, there hopeless.

there've got all our $$$ so they dont need us anymore, simple.


they havent even got a Server for multiplayer running, we have to use ppl who have kindly set up their own servers.....


I wanna contact the head EA in america, but no1 could give me their email:(

I HATE PATCHES

i really get pissed off at games that are so shoddy that they have to be patched in the first month. I'm quite happy that v8c hasn't needed a patch to fix some awful bug.

The worst is Sierra, like the patch for half-life is 64 meg. (go download that on dialup?) that's more than some games. sheesh

kev, there is BUGS in the game, maybe not for u....but for alot of other people...


the AI just plain sucks, that should be fixed,

there is some bugs for steering wheels,

lots of sound bugs.....



now u tell me this game(could call it a mod) was fully finished on release?

maybe EA should watch how codemasters make/finish games, and learn of them (not to meantion codies has a VERY GOOD customer support system):D

Kev, I agree with you there. I desperately wanted half life patch but it would have taken something like 7 hours to d/l on dialup. So I got so desperate I payed my mate who has broadband to d/l it (well, he had already d/l it for his half life anyway:eek: )

Dont worry - the payment was nothing naughty, it was more towards legal activity! I payed him in a way to say thanks for d/l it and to change his mind when he said yes.

But enough of that ...

Matt, I know what your thinking because you visit the v8 challenge forums with me at 11 in the night sometimes when were bored. Yes, they need a patch of some sort but I doubt it will happen.

If the EA forums were as legit and civil as these forums we could tell if ppl knew about a patch. But there it is hard to see what is fact from fiction :( :o

I think part of the problem with it was from EA changing release dates, so the public got the annoyances with them and started to ask where is it, whens it comin out.

EA reckon it was partly coz of a shipment problem but I think DICE might have had something to do with it.

Anyways we'll see.
