Looks like I'm going to be offline for a while, as far as racing is concerned.
I've recently had to upgrade to Win '98 because I upgraded my PC to a Pentium 4 and '95 doesn't like P4's for some odd reason. &(
At any rate, the problem is that my primary steering device (A Sidewinder 3D Pro) is not working as it used to.
It's being a pain and showing up as 'not connected', despite the fact that I *know* it's connected and it even shows up in PU (but it doesn't work there either!) &(
Having d/l'd the latest drivers for it and a few other things, I've come to the conclusion that it might just be time for a new controller, but with the amount of money (it always comes down to that in the end, doesn't it?) I've paid out on the PC recently, it's going to be at *least* 2 weeks before I can go buying one, probably more.
In the meantime, I shall keep trying to get the Sidewinder to work.
Any help towards that will be greatly appreciated.
