I still hold firm on my November/December release estimate. EA wants money and Xmas brings lotta money. EA has such a long history of posting over-optimistic release dates that I never trust what they say. Well, still time to try for 140 points on deadlineracers I guess :) Just did a 1:58.37 Corsica, but I use a new technique hitting the wall on that sweeping righty after the first tunnel, so that gives me about a 0.25-0.33s advantage over Klappi, so he's about 0.2s faster than me if you consider he didn't use the new "trick", but he'll be back - looks like that's his newest favourite track, along with his long-time faves Alps, Auvergne & Schwarzwald (and Zone was his first all-time fave, would be my guess). So...Schwarzwald, Alps, Autobahn, Auvergne, MC1, and MC2 remain (but Corsica isn't done, at least I'm not counting on it). I wish the 10 pts for prize's 57.96 MC1 were awarded long ago, but hey, we'll see about that...I only consider myself with 6 points there anyhow...and I always include Mazkx's times - like his 1:57.87 Cote, 57.90 MC1 and 1:58.81 Corsica, so really I'm only 3rd on MC1... Whew - man that Corsica session drained me - been trying for 4 days - first day a few hours (probably 5 a day) and got a 1:58.96 with 70/0df and the low speed tranny, then next day a 1:58.50, and no luck after that...yesterday a few sessions, each a few hours (5-6 total for the day probably), again ran a 1:58.50, then best run yesterday was a 1:58.46, then today, ran a 1:58.50 yet again, and then yet another 1:58.46, and ten finally just now the 1:58.37, and I'd run a bunch of other 1:58's with one 1:58.59 or so I think being the fastest of the other ones... Man...no wonder I've been laying low with NFS fiending the last bit...it's so tiring...and to think I got the 1:57.68 Cote in one session, out of the blue since I didn't even play for a week or two before that, and got the 1:57.68 after only a hour and a bit of racing (2 hours max) - that one was a totally strange session - just had the knack in very little time... Well, at least I have a 24:16.39 cumulative now, but that will be a 24:14.99 for sure before it's left alone - I think a 24:13.99 is in the cards, and hell, just maybe a 24:12.99, if ultra-near-perfection is attained on all tracks, and all records must be attained to achieve that... &( gotta go chill and take a shower... NFS6 just around the corner...ooh I'm so anxious :'( ^_^ Wazza 06-16-2002, 04:16 AM again, crazy Domagoj.. lol 5 hours a day for that long on one combination... I spend usually 30min or so.. and then i lose all concentration and start crashing.. same with online.... get closer and closer to WR.. and finally lose it, and every run ends in a crash or 2 sec slow.. mmm markus doesnt race no way as much as you.. just lucky I guess for a good natural feel of the cars... Often I only race MCs with 5 or 6 laps offline coz I only do one run.. and whatever time I get is good enough.,.. sometimes that stretches into a few goes.. most ever was racing on MC5... my times were all 43.90, 44.00, 44.03, 44.06, 44.09.. 44.12... all very close... but other tracks large differences between times.. I did try MC5 fwd a week ago.. best I did was 44.3.. and I think i have a better setup now... oh well... i suck... Sepecat 06-16-2002, 07:31 AM Does anyone know how much NFS6 will Cost?
