That's right, it's that time of year again. In just over 12 hours, the greatest race of all will start. The official Justin Martin aka IH8COPS prediction can be summed up in one word: Audi. It's hard to imagine Audi not winning, they just have such a huge advantage in every possible way. But as always, it should be a great race. :D So who else is watching?

For those of you in the US who have the Speed Channel, Le Mans will be broadcasted from 9:30am eastern until 4:30pm when they take a break for primetime. Coverage picks up again eight hours later at 12:30am and lasts until 4:00am when they take another break, this time for paid programming. Coverage comes back for the third time at 7:00am, and continues through the finish and post-race coverage until 10:30am.

Wow, Audi 1,2,3 in qualifying! Is that car available in NFS?
You guys are so lucky to watch LeMans, in Australia we dont get to see any of this. Fox got 2 24hr sports channels but today only shows 2 segments of the Acropolis rally and Nascar, the Kentucky 300 (which I missed :( ). The rest is mostly rugby (11 hours) and cricket (9 hours) .
F1 is only available on a commercial channel (nine) and always comes on delayed. Even when there is a major pile up and the race is stopped, we still wait for the restart like it was live.

yes, would wacth, if there's some broadcast here.
Like it very much, I missed 2000 and 2001, because forget the time. Very interesting '99's, (how time flies).

yeah being Australia with the motor sport situation sucks :( I mean there 2 sports channels on Foxtel and two on optus and it's on either I guess it's got to do with a lack of demand.

...only got to see the last hour and a bit of the first 7-hour airing of it on SPEED, which ran from 7:30am-2:30pm here, then missed the short airing starting at about midnight. The last airing is 5:30am-7:30am here, so I guess I'll miss it, but seeing how the Audis pitted was pretty reassuring that they should win, and if nothing major goes wrong, sweep 1-2-3. They would come in, and not even change tires - just fuel, and go - and the Audis wouldn't even get dirty from bugs, etc, where all the other cars would be wiped clean by the pit crew each time - wonder if Audi uses some sort of wax or other dirt/bug "repellant" :)

Just saw the end of the Sweden - Senegal game - Senegal took it, pretty good game...and Brazl plays tomorrow...gotta catch that one for sure...

well here's to Audi
