I finally got the pics for my first car, the Mille Miglia GT, working, and you can view them here first. They are in .JPEG format, so don't whine if the engine cutaways look sloppy.http://A: Mille Miglia GT2.jpg http://A: Mille Miglia GT5.jpg http://A: Mille Miglia GT http://A: Mille Miglia GT3 http://A: Mille Miglia GT4 http://A: Mille Miglia GT_hood

You'll have to upload the pics to a webserver or use the attach file feature, you can't post pics from your harddrive.

Another option is to choose one of the images and upload it as an attachment (see near the bottom of the Reply page) but you can only upload one attachment per post.

thanx guys; I'll have to do it the long and very tedious way; since there's six pictures, I'll have to do six posts in a row, starting with this one. This is #1, a rear view showing cowl units and exhaust pipes.

this is #2, a front three-quarters view.

this is #3, a front view. Note the twin-belt-driven blowers towards the rear of the car.

this is #4, an engine cutaway. Note the blue rocker arms, pushrods, and hydraulic cam rollers. It has 10 cylinders, 1000 horsepower, and hemispherical combustion chambers.

this is #5, an interior view. Note the semi-transparent green heads-up display. It will be implemented in the NFS 4 version.

this is #6; a remote-controlled version. It's just like the real thing, omly in 1:8 scale. It features two 9-turn Trinity electric motors fed by a separate NiMH battery pack for each. Don't know if I'll build it though...

this is #7, the grand-finale. It's a 'see-through' version of the Mille Miglia RC. The front suspension works the same way as an F1 car; the shocks are placed longitudinally, lying down above the pan-car chassis.

that's all for now; I'll have drivetrain pics tomorrow including a full cutaway of the engine showing pistons, crankshaft, intake manifold, connecting rods, and head porting. Don't know if I will implement that in NFS 4. So far, the .FCE file is about 4 MEGS, so I'll have to fix that somehow. Because of the extensive detail of this car (which happens to be one of the most detailed cars I have ever done) this car probably won't be available for a few months. I finished the CARP1.txt file, and tonight I'll do the upgrades, CARP2 and CARP3.txt so you can eventually enjoy a racing version of this car.

Top Speed (so far) 266 mph

0-60 3.1 sec

Power 920 bhp @ 7200 rpm (stock)
" " 1,033 bhp @ 7600 rpm (upgrade 1)
" " 1,078 bhp @ 8300 rpm (upgrade 2)
" " 1,123 bhp @ 8900 rpm (upgrade 3)

Base Price: 1,200,000 US dollars. It's worth it, trust me.

So far, handling is realistic (for a car of this caliber) and you could go through the final turn at Landstrasse at 50 mph. Has a severe case of lift-throttle oversteer/full throttle understeer though. You could practically steer this car with your right foot!
