Well we finally got to meet online Matt :hat:-^
To answer that question you asked while I was trying to reach Dave but was too busy to answer; Yes, I was excited too.
I haven't had many oppertunities to race online so it is all still very new and exciting to me. Thank you for being a part of my "early days". I will reflect back to these times one day, Josh (my only PU online encounter), Dave and Matt my second and third ever races online.

I'm interested to know your gear setting as you and Dave flew past me up mountain straight on that first race. Too bad I was getting the rearview with each gear change heh, that'll teach me to be more prepared. But I am not making excuses, I was simply shit-house lastnight.

Hat's off to Dave with 3 consectutive 1.58s in that 5 lap race. Sorry about phoning you on the last lap at Murry's Corner Dave, (you should have just let the phone ring) but I thought you guys were just watching the replay then.

I have pulled my T2 wheel into even more peices and sent Jennie off to buy a new balance pot. I hope to have it as good as new by this arvo. Fingers crossed

l was in pretty much the same boat as acca (tho i dont have good excuse:rolleyes: ). I crashed 2times per lap......was very messy.

l managed 1 clean lap of 2:05 tho:D

Matt : I guess it didn't help with me typing "DOH!!" all of the time during your race :D

If you think you crashed alot you should have seen this ol' fart trying to angle park all the way around Bathurst. ^_^
Then you pulled over at Hell Corner to type messages. ^_^ I was expecting you to lay-out a pinic blanket, basket & esky.

Although my keyboard driving was shitful and at first not setup properly I still had lots of laughs.
Sorry if I put either of you guys off your consentration.

Pings were pretty bad in the last race. Although Dave said afterwards that he didn't have any ping probs, mine was definately jerky during the last race but pretty smooth going before it. Maybe I should set my resolutions (1152x684@32) back down to the default?

Perhaps a closer server (more central to all of us) would be needed when we finally get a few more guys together at the same time.

BTW, Jen's home again. Tandy don't have balance pots :rolleyes: She will try Dick Smiths tomorrow.

I was very surprised at easily the rust dusted off. I was expecting to be crashing all over the place :rolleyes:
