This morning I tried the new HS camera editor from Nappe1 at Durham Road. Its fun playing with different angles, even though moving cameras to a specific position can get tricky. Cameras are set on coordinates (x,y,z) but I could find no way to superimpose those coordinates onto a track grid (Tr.frd).

Anyway, here is the track camera file. Thanks again to Nappe1 for the camera editor!

Move file into NFSHS\Data\Tracks\UK
You may have to rename the file to Tr.cam (it wants to download it as Tr.cam.cam)

Thanks Nite, that looks pretty cool already. :)
I'm sorry that I haven't welcomed you back officially, but I have had very little time recently to even be here... I also want to have a shot at eding replay cameras for tracks myself (especially Hometown and Landstrasse could od with some more dramatic replay angles) There's just not enough hours in a day. =[

That yellow car, it's the 962LM I think.. Haven't seen it in a long while, and I have no idea when Dauer will contact me about making a new one for them.. Heard something about it, but, nothing since..

Not that I'm worried.. That BMW V12 LMR looks pretty good too.

I've also looked at editing the cameras for Urban Germany, but, after seeing the way its done, I got a fright, and decided that I'd leave it for someone else.. I wish there was an easier way, like to show a map of the track with icons for the cameras on it, showing how they animate, and so on..

It'd be much easier.

chris: yes the yellow car is the Dauer, quite distinctive even from such a great distance.
And I agree, camera editing takes a bit of patience and I dont think I'll do a lot more tracks if any. I haven't raced HS in a while, but this was the program I've been waiting for since I started editing HS.

I couldn't agree more^_^ But good looking replays are a great reward for sleepless nights - or days, whatever the schedule.
